We work with local artisans to bring you beautiful designs in ultra small batches. Each design is extremely limited edition so once it’s gone, it’s gone for good.

Family Owned Business - Meet The Smiley's
We met and fell in love over our mutual adoration of the LifeBlanket.
Ok, maybe that's only partly true😂. It was our shared love of adventure, travel and living life on our terms...however we distinctly remember one of our first conversations we had being the inception of the LifeBlanket.
Eric had been traveling in Turkey and came across Turkish Towels. He loved this humble towel because it was so PRACTICAL. It dried much faster than a traditional towel all while being just as absorbent and much more soft.
Meanwhile Brit had been traveling around the world and her go to travel accessory was the Sarong. She loved how BEAUTIFUL, stylish and multi purpose it was. She used her sarong for everything: an airplane blanket, a beach cover up, a scarf, shawl and even occasionally a towel in a pinch.
After we had Lily we found ourselves gravitating to both these items but needing something more.
We put our heads together and combined the best of each of these much loved items and made the LifeBlanket.
We use it for everything.
Whether that's...
Playing in the park with our little girl, wiping her runny nose, traveling to Bahamas and laughing on the beach or cozying up on the couch at home together.
When we look at our LifeBlanket, it's a happy reminder of all the little moments that make up our life.
We knew we wanted to share this with other moms and young families so we partnered with local artisans around the world to bring you small batch, limited edition versions of the Life Blanket in different designs. Each design only ever has 1000 available and once it's gone, it's gone for good.
